About Us
We run a pottery studio in East Austin, East Side Pot Shop, where we offer ceramics classes to the public. We are fortunate to have our shop as our home base studio as well, where we are constantly exploring new possibilities in the ceramics process. We are a collaborative team, always inspiring each other to keep pushing the limits of clay, through experimental building, glazing, and firing techniques. We fire most of our work in our cone 10 soda kiln or our gas reduction kiln. Nom Ceramics is a collaboration of functional and sculptural ceramic work that holds roots in traditional ceramic values, while maintaining ongoing explorations of contemporary techniques.
